Our Mission

Mission: The Sunday Recovery Network is committed to providing accessible and comprehensive resources, community support, and education to break the stigma surrounding addiction and mental health. Our mission is to empower individuals to achieve and maintain lasting recovery.

Long-term vision: The Sunday Recovery Network will provide comprehensive recovery resources for members of the communities across the DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia).

Sunday Recovery Network will own and operate:

  • Recovery houses and treatment centers

  • Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs and Outpatient (OP) programs

  • Counseling centers and education centers: tutoring, professional development and financial planning courses. These will help addicts in early recovery learn the necessary skills to put themselves in a position to improve their lives and the lives of those around them.

Addiction has no discriminations. It can affect anyone, and we believe anyone should be able to get support along their recovery journey.

The Sunday Recovery Network was founded by addicts, for addicts and the community as a whole. We see a significant need for a multi-faceted approach to supporting those struggling with substance abuse and addiction. Getting clean is only the first step; there is much more to recovery than just abstinence from drugs and substances.

Our founding Board Members will provide key transitional support services for individuals who have taken this first step in their recovery journey. Focusing on our own first-hand experience navigating life as recovering addicts, we will provide comprehensive support to those in our communities struggling. Together, we will help addicts overcome the challenges that accompany getting clean and sober.
